NATIONAL PARKS and STATE PARKS: GOD’S GREAT CANVAS
During our travels, Maria and I will be visiting some of the most beautiful places created by God in the United States and North America. We believe it is important to highlight these National Park treasures, their history, and the efforts that led to the government intervention to protect them for all our future generations. The raping of the land during the growth of this nation has led to the loss of many beautiful spaces created by our Lord. It is our intention to bring attention to the protection of our National Parks and share our experiences with our readers, so they may understand the importance of the parks’ continued protection and to also see and experience the beauty of God’s creation.
Our adventure has begun. While on the road, Maria and I will be providing links to the parks we have recently visited. You will find general park information as well as historical information at these links. We are so excited about getting started. God has blessed us so much already, and we feel so blessed that he has chosen us for this adventure.

EXPLORING TOGETHER
Share with us an experience you have had while traveling this great country of ours, and share about some of the beautiful places you have visited.
Awesome to hear about your journey. Stop by and see us when your get into Texas. Plenty of interesting sites to see and good people! Take care!
Paul
Hi, Paul.
Our plan is to make arrangements to see whoever is available while we are in the San Antonio area. Maria will be making contact with you in the next couple of days. Take care, and God bless.
Ed
I haven’t visited very many places, but this summer while in Massachusetts I went to a place with my brother, his girlfriend and my 2 daughters called Glendale Falls. What a beautiful site; huge rocky waterfall that seamed to last forever with pools of water every so often to cool off in. This majestic scenary was in the middle of no where; you would have to know where to look or you would never find it. Down a back road, on the side of a mountain, back in the woods, not a plane or car to be heard, we hiked down one side and up the other; it was totally awesome.
I will live vicariously through your pictures and stories until the day that our small family can take some time to enjoy the beauty of this great country. Most people say that if they won the lottery they would; go on a cruise, travel to Europe or quit their job and do nothing. I say I would buy an RV, hire a teacher and driver tour all the places of interest in the United States and let my kids see the historical places they learn about and the places that don’t get mentioned. After we see everything here, then travel to other places.
I look forward to the updates. May God and our prayers be with you on you trip. We will surely miss you at class on Sundays.
Hi, Melissa. If you can talk Ted into it…meet us in Alaska…or any other place we will be visiting. You have a free place to stay and will be up close and personal with nature. You would even have the oportunity to put some time in for a little ministry work. Keep in touch. We love you all. Tell the girls we said Hi.
Hi Maria and Ed. Just took a look at your site. It looks great. Looking forward to seeing updates of your journey. God Bless.
