Mission

The commission (or assignment) that Jesus has laid before Maria and I, is the same assignment that was given to the first disciples that carried the message of love (the cross and resurrection) to all who would listen.  This assignment was not taken lightly by the disciples, and in the process of carrying it, they eventually lost their lives.  We also do not take this assignment appointed to us lightly and hope that in our travels we grow closer to God, grow closer to the lost, and grow closer to you as our readers.  We also pray that our efforts over the next couple of years are an inspiration to others, to believe and to share that belief by following in the footsteps of other disciples before them, who gave up everything to spread the Gospel (the message of Jesus Christ, the Kingdom of God, and salvation) so that everyone had the chance to choose everlasting life over an eternity separated from Jesus. 

¹⁸ Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. ¹⁹ Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”     Matthew 28: 18-20
