WHAT IS SALVATION? The deliverance, by the grace of God, from eternal punishment for sin which is granted to those who accept by faith God’s conditions of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus. Salvation is available in Jesus alone and is dependent on God alone for provision, assurance, and security.
SCRIPTURAL TRUTHS:
”For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.” John 3:16-21
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me… John 14:6
For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Romans 5:10
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Romans 10:9-10
…for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, Acts 3:19
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace Ephesians 1:7
Giving your life to Jesus Christ!
If you want God’s forgiveness and grace, it is available. Search your heart and find that empty space that has eluded all your attempts to fill. Ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and fill that void as only he can. He is waiting.
What is the Salvation Prayer? A prayer of salvation is a verbal expression to God of your new faith and belief in Jesus Christ.
Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.
Believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and rose three days later.
Repent! Ask God for forgiveness. Change your life to be a living servant of the Lord.
