MEETING THE BROWNS
Edward Brown was born in Würzburg Germany in 1966 and was raised the majority of his life in Las Cruces, New Mexico by his mother (Kitty Walters) and stepfather (Nazario Walters). He has two surviving siblings (Tammy Hernandez and Trina Walters), 3 adult children (Christopher, Megan, and Amanda) from a prior marriage, and 2 grandchildren (Alexei and Kaia). Edward is a criminal justice professional with a Bachelors in Criminology, a Masters in Justice Administration, and a Certification in Substance Counseling. He is presently on heiatous from being a probation and parole officer with the Virginia Department of Corrections and is an online criminal justice instructor. Edward has been working in the criminal justice field for 10 years. He gave his life to Jesus when he was 33 years old and was baptized in Albuquerque, NM in 1999.
Maria Brown was born in Cambridge, NY and was raised most of her life in Avoca, NY by her mother (Kim Dontigney) and stepfather (Robert Dontigney). She has two brothers (Eric and Troy). Maria is a Human Services professional with a Bachelors in Family Studies, a Masters in Human Services, and a Certification in Substance Counseling. She is presently a full-time online instructor. Maria has a passion for working with the homeless and low-income families and has been working in the Human Services field for 12 years. She gave her life to Jesus when she was 8 years old and was baptized. Since then, she has recommitted her life to Jesus and was baptized in Albuquerque, NM in 1999.
